A circus tale.
Is it a circus or a dressing room?
Is he a ring assistant or a great artist?
Is he a tame human or a wild feline?
“Cándido” is a circus tale in which the set design makes a 180-degree turn, turning the audience into accomplices and witnesses to the tasks, routines, and games that occupy the protagonist—a circus worker who, from the shadows, gives his all to make the show perfect.
Unaware of it, and almost by chance, this endearing ring assistant reveals his hidden skills. Juggling, whip, balances, acrobatic bicycle… A display of circus technique and humor carried out by a single character.
“Cándido” is a 50-minute circus show for all audiences, for street and indoor performance, that speaks about ways of being and seeing life.
An ode to innocence in its most positive sense.
